→ 1.  “The Apple”
“The Apple”  is a work composed of four visual experiments that explore the visual recontextualization of signs and images.

From Adam and Eve’s forbidden fruit to the inspiration of Newton’s gravity but also to the current Apple LOGO. Therefore, the apple is a powerful symbol, although it is a typical daily fruit. I went to Tesco, bought apples, and documented the process. Inspired by the book Visualizing Symbols I conducted a series of visual experiments, extracting images of apples in different visual contexts, and put them together with other signs I collected to create some new stories and visual sentences of apple.

Exercise 2

This will be a quick drawing process, a drawing on the way is not always a good drawing, but a bad drawing might make things more interesting...

Exercise 3

I collected symbols on the streets of Glasgow and took photographs to document them, and in the process of collecting them I found a lot of interesting things. And I decided to use graffiti to redesign the symbols in a way that was the exact opposite of the original intention. From well dessigned to bad drawing with pen and paper/acrylic markers/pencils
