Mapping the world is a book design project based on the reading and research of six books I choose which called Reader.
For the reader, I chose six books related to information design in Project 2, which I found the most exciting part of mapping. I used to think that a map was only a map.
It would only show us the layout of the city. But during the reading, I found that mapping can be rich and varied, which could be everything.
Mapping is a critical way for people
to understand the world and also to create a world. You can see the history, logic, and how people understand the world behind the mapping.So, in this book, I will show my
understanding of mapping now. It is like mapping the progress of my reading in three weeks, but in a more structured and logical way to show people what mapping is.
